I Got Lost
03:22
|
|||
Every morning, I drag myself to the mirror,
Pull a comb through my hair, & hope I’m ready for the day
Where’d I put my keys? I hate this routine,
Grab a coffee to go, & it’s out the door for me
Wondering, “How the hell did this ever happen to me?”
But I got lost on my way to work,
I took a path I’d never took,
& I feel like I’ve got somewhere else to be,
Like there’s so much more out here for me
& when I finally find my way,
I’ve missed half the day, & I can’t explain why I’m late
I just came to say, “I won’t make it in today”
‘Cause I got lost on my way to work,
I took a path I’d never took,
& I feel like I’ve got somewhere else to be,
Like there’s so much more out here for me
Every morning, I drag myself to the mirror,
Pull a comb through my hair, & hope I’m ready for the day

Call It A Feeling
01:13
|
|||
Call it a feeling, or intuition,
Call it whatever you want
The blue moon is shining, the stars are aligning,
I’d call it a sign
Through it all, are you still mad,
Or frustrated, with where you’re at?
Are you holding out, to shut it down,
Just to save face?
The silver lining, is there’s no denying,
I’ve got you figured out

I'll Be Around
02:37
|
|||
It’s getting late, I really should be leaving,
I’m going home
We’ve had our fun, I’m kind of drunk,
& I don’t know anyone
I’m nodding off against this wall,
& the bar tender, she’s got her eye on me,
I’m out of here, if you need to find me,
I’ll be around
The show went over pretty well, I’d say,
We all got paid
But my free drinks didn’t go too far,
So I spent that money at the bar
Now I’m nodding off against this wall,
& the bar tender, she’s got her eye on me,
I’m out of here, if you need to find me,
I’ll be around
It’s getting late, I really should be leaving,
I’m going home
